According to Ghana Soccernet, Leeds United are interested in signing Chievo striker Caleb Ekuban this summer. He has just enjoyed a brilliant loan spell in Albania. The 23-year-old scored 17 goals in 34 games for Partizani Tirana last season and Leeds are now believed to be keen.

Now it is reported in Cyprus that Ekuban is only available on a loan deal. APOEL Nicosia are also keen on signing the player this summer, but they want to bring him in permanently.
Sigma Live reports that Chievo are not currently interested in letting him leave permanently and would rather see him head out on loan for a season.

Leeds United, who are still without a new manager, do need to sign a new striker this summer to add support to the overworked New Zealand international Chris Wood, who scored 30 goals for Leeds last season.
Ekuban, who has also had loan spells at Sudtirol, Lumezzane and Renate, would be a good addition. But whether Leeds are happy to just have him in on loan will remain to be seen.
