According to the YEP, Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford has had an examination over his injury problem, which he picked up by playing for the under-23’s in midweek.

Bamford scored in Leeds’ youngsters’ 5-0 victory over Bristol City, but it was not all good news for Marcelo Bielsa.

Bamford picked up a problem during the contest, and Leeds are concerned about the severity of the injury.

The summer signing damaged his knee, and has now had to undergo tests to see just how problematic the injury could be.

Bamford is set to miss Leeds’ match at the weekend against Millwall, but there are fears he could be sidelined for longer.
