The Chesterfield player has impressed in League One this season.
Leeds United have been linked with a whole heap of players in recent weeks, so it is probably hard for fans to keep track of just who is and who isn’t on their radar.
Last month one man who appeared to pop up in their sights was Tendayi Darikwa.
The Sun reported that Leeds had taken a shine to the 23-year-old right-back, with owner Massimo Cellino particularly keen on the player.
Darikwa, who is set to receive a call-up to the Zimbabwe national team this month, has been in fine form this season. He has featured in 56 games for Chesterfield this term, even scoring a goal against Crewe in April.
Now it is reported that Leeds maintain an interest in the player this summer.
It is reported by Alan Biggs, a journalist for the Sheffield Star, that Leeds are still keen on the player and that the deal is in no way off the cards.
Darikwa looks to be a fine talent but it would be fair to assume his attraction to Leeds would be contingent on the future of Sam Byram.
