Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams is now asking to leave the club amid interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

Tyler Adams could be on the move this summer having allegedly told Leeds United that he wants to go.

That is according to a report from TEAMtalk, who claim that Adams has informed Leeds that he wants to play in the Premier League.

Adams was one of few Leeds players to come out of this past season with credit as the Whites suffered relegation.

Adams is allegedly aware that Premier League clubs want to sign him and that’s why he wants to go.

It’s stated that Manchester United have checked on Adams on multiple occasions and are interested in signing him.

Leeds may not fancy losing Adams to United but a move to Old Trafford will certainly appeal to the American.

Leeds forked out £20million to sign Adams from RB Leipzig last summer and would certainly demand a profit on him now.

Leeds United’s Tyler Adams is a man in demand

United won’t be alone in the race to sign Adams having impressed in the Leeds midfield.

90Min reported just a couple of weeks ago that Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur all want Adams.

United do make sense; they need to find another defensively-strong midfielder to offer cover and competition for Casemiro.

Leeds may prefer to sell elsewhere though and Liverpool could add up.

Adams has been in the Red Bull system like a number of former Liverpool signings and could compete with Fabinho in front of Jurgen Klopp’s back four.

Newcastle have been linked with a number of defensive midfielders, possibly with the idea of freeing up Bruno Guimaraes to go forward more.

Adams would fit the bill for that role and Newcastle could be tempted to launch a move.

The one rumour there that doesn’t make sense is Tottenham, who will surely focus more on creative midfielders than a defensive one.

We could certainly see Adams joining Liverpool, Manchester United or Newcastle United, but much will depend on Leeds’ asking price.
