Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are supposedly in the running for the 19-year-old.
According to Goal.com, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have held talks over signing young Arsenal star Krystian Bielik.
The 19-year-old defender impressed during a six-month loan at Birmingham City in the second half of last season and ESPN reported earlier in the summer that Arsene Wenger was willing to loan him to the Championship again this season.
And Goal.com have reported today that Leeds and Nottingham Forest have spoken to the teenager’s representatives ahead of a temporary move to Elland Road or the City Ground.
Bielik, who can also play midfield, impressed in a centre-back role for the Blues under Gianfranco Zola last season and the Whites might need another central defender.
Thomas Christiansen has four centre-back options – Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper, Matthew Pennington and Conor Shaughnessy – but United have been linked with other defenders in that position.
But it remains to be seen whether Director of Football Victor Orta is successful with Bielik, after The Yorkshire Evening Post reported recently that a move for the Arsenal talent was unlikely.
If The YEP report is accurate then it might suggest that Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton has the advantage.
