Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United side are very keen to sign Dwight Gayle from Newcastle United, but face competition with West Bromwich Albion.

Leeds appear to be on the hunt for a new striker, and Gayle has suddenly become a possibility, with Kemar Roofe set to depart for Anderlecht.
Gayle is now set to speak with Steve Bruce about leaving Newcastle, with Leeds desperate to snap him up.
The Whites are in competition with West Bromwich Albion, who have renewed their interest in the front man, after taking him on loan last season.
Bruce wants to keep Gayle at St. James’ Park, but the striker has concerns that he won’t play.
Newcastle have already broken their record on a new striker this summer, with Joelinton coming in, and Gayle thinks that he could be left sitting on the bench.

If he was to move to Leeds Gayle would have no worries of game time.
The 28-year-old would step straight into Marcelo Bielsa’s starting line-up, and he could be a difference maker in the promotion race.
Leeds lacked a clinical finisher last season, but with Gayle they would have arguably the finest Championship striker around and he would surely guarantee them goals over the campaign.
