Leeds United reportedly want Rudy Gestede from Middlesbrough as a replacement for Chris Wood, who has joined Burnley in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Leeds have made a bid of £6 million for Gestede to replace Wood, who has joined Burnley.
As reported by The Guardian, Premier League club Burnley have had to pay as much as £15 million in order to secure the services of the New Zealand international striker in the summer transfer window.

Wood was one of the best players for Leeds last season, as he scored as many as 27 goals in the Championship.
Gestede has been on the books of Middlesbrough since January when he joined from Aston Villa for a transfer fee reported by GasetteLive to be worth £6m.
The Benin international failed to make an impact for Middlesbrough last season, scoring just one goal in 16 Premier League appearances.

So far this season, the 28-year-old has scored one goal and provided one assist in three Championship starts for Middlesbrough.
Gestede knows the Championship inside out, having been a success during his time at Blackburn Rovers.
