Leeds United are interested in signing Yan Dhanda from Swansea City in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

It has been reported that Bournemouth, RB Leipzig and Atalanta are also interested in the attacking midfielder.

The report has added that Leeds could have room in their squad for the former Liverpool youngster should Tyler Roberts leave.

Reigniting interest in Yan Dhanda

This is not the first time that Leeds have been linked with the 22-year-old, who can also operate as a winger.

The Daily Mail reported in August 2017 that the Whites were looking to sign Dhanda on a loan deal when he was at Liverpool.

The report quoted Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp as saying that the youngster is “a very good player”.

Yan Dhanda Stats

Dhanda has made nine starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for Swansea so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster made nine starts and eight substitute appearances in the Championship for the Swans, scoring three goals in the process, according to WhoScored.

Dhanda joined Swansea in the summer of 2018 after leaving Liverpool.
