According to a report in the print edition in The Sun on Sunday, Leeds United are lining up a January move for MLS hitman Cyle Larin.

The Orlando City striker has netted 11 goals for his club in 22 starts this season and has previously been linked with moves to Celtic and Everton.

And The Sun on Sunday reports that Leeds will challenge Turkish giants Besiktas for his signature when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The 22-year-old, whose contract expires at the end of December according to Transfermarkt, is one of the most exciting centre-forwards in the MLS and has netted 43 times in 75 league starts for Orlando.

The Canada international is valued at around £2 million, the publication suggests.

Leeds lost talisman Chris Wood to Burnley in a £15 million move this past summer but Director of Football Victor Orta has brought in a couple of replacements in the form of Jay-Roy Grot and Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who joined on loan from Hamburg.
