This morning saw Ross McCormack’s move to Aston Villa finalised.
The Scotland international has joined the recently relegated side for a fee of £12 million, as reported by the London Evening Standard.

But there is some good news for Fulham, and bad news for Leeds United, as the Cottagers will be keeping all of that money – according to Radio Yorkshire.
Leeds did not include a sell-on clause in their deal when they sold McCormack for £11 million to Fulham in 2014.
Leeds had to pay Cardiff City a percentage of their transfer fee received as a sell-on clause two years ago, but Leeds will apparently not benefit in a similar way.

The Yorkshire club will no doubt wish they had included such a clause in a transfer away from the club. A clause as small as 10 per cent could have seen them pocket an easy £1.2 million this morning.
McCormack, who scored 42 goals in 100 appearances for Fulham since leaving Leeds for London, will now be tasked with firing Aston Villa back to the top-flight of English football.
