Leeds United goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has undergone surgery after breaking a bone in his hand, according to West Yorkshire Sport.

This means that the 19-year-old goalkeeper could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

Peacock-Farrell is not guaranteed a place in the Leeds starting lineup, but the teenager is a very talented and promising young goalkeeper.

The youngster, who faces competition from Rob Green, Marco Silvestri and Ross Turnbull for the goalkeeping spot, has already made his debut for the Whites’ first team.

The injury and subsequent spell on the sidelines will come as a blow to the youngster, but he should remain positive.
