Leeds United have failed with a second bid for the Olympiacos midfielder Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe, according to Voetbal Primeur.
Citing their sources in Greece, the Belgian website reports that Leeds’ previous bid for Odjidja-Ofoe also ‘disappeared into the trash can’.
It claims however that the former Norwich City player is allowed to leave his current employers during the summer transfer window.
Olympiacos are said to want back the €2.5 million (£2.2 million) they paid for Odjidja-Ofoe during last summer’s transfer window.
The value of Leeds’ alleged bids remains unclear, however.
Voetbal Primeur adds that two of Odjidja-Ofoe’s former clubs, Anderlecht and Club Brugge, continue think of their fellow Belgian, although thus far there has been no concrete move from either.
Odjidja-Ofoe, 29, played nine times for Norwich and Rotherham during the 2014/15 Championship season.
