Leeds United reportedly want to sign Daniel James from Swansea City.

It has been reported that Leeds are confident of striking a deal with Championship rivals Swansea over the transfer of James, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
“United head coach Marcelo Bielsa, though, installed James as his top target amongst names put to him by the club’s director of football, Victor Orta, and Leeds are looking to make a breakthrough with Swansea before they visit Rotherham United on Saturday,” adds the report in The Yorkshire Evening Post.
Good signing for Leeds United
James is a very talented promising young attacking player, and the Wales international will be a good signing for Leeds in the January transfer window, not just for now, but for the long term.

Leeds could do with signing an attack-minded player this month following the departure of Samuel Saiz on a loan deal to Getafe in the January transfer window.
According to WhoScored, James has made 12 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for the Swans so far this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process.
Leeds are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 54 points from 28 matches, a point clear of second-placed Norwich City.
