According to a report in the Daily Mail, Leeds United are ‘hopeful’ of tying down Pablo Hernandez to a new contract.

Hernandez’s current deal at Elland Road is due to expire at the end of the season, and there have been rising concerns that he could be set to move on.

However, Leeds officials are now said to be ‘hopeful’ of sealing a deal to keep Hernandez at the club.

The 32-year-old has previously suggested that staying with the Whites would interest him, despite their disappointing season.
