Leeds United are said to be closing in on a deal to bring a new centre-back to Elland Road.
The identify of the defender is not yet confirmed, but Leeds are believed to be on the verge of completing a deal for a new central defender.
Thomas Christiansen has needed to add defensive additions to his squad this summer, with his options at centre-back currently short.

Guiseppe Bellusci’s departure earlier today, leaves Leeds with only two recognised centre halves in their squad, in the shape of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper.
Jansson is considered to be one of Leeds’ star players, but Cooper has his detractors.
And Leeds’ new centre-back signing is likely to be in competition for a place alongside Jansson in the heart of the Whites’ defence.
Leeds had one of the most secure defensive partnerships in the Championship last season, with Kyle Bartley working in tandem with Jansson.
However, Bartley has now returned to Swansea City, following the expiration of his loan spell, and it seems unlikely that he will return to Elland Road.
