Leeds United reportedly lead the chase for Astana’s Junior Kabananga.

Leeds United are leading the chase for striker Junior Kabananga, report Teamtalk.

But to sign him, they may need a favour from Celtic over the next fortnight.

Kabananga plays for Kazazh side Astana, who face Celtic in the upcoming Champions League qualifiers.

Astana have won their last seven games in all competitions and are hoping to reach the Champions League group stages.

If they make it there, then Leeds United’s chances of signing Kabanaga will be greatly reduced.

Kabananga is reportedly on the radar of Nottingham Forest and Hull City, but Leeds are claimed by Teamtalk to be frontrunners.

The striker has scored 16 goals in his last 33 games in all competitions and 14 in 21 league games, with five assists.

The 28-year-old is a DR Congo international and is valued at £1.5 million.
