According to the Daily Telegraph, Leeds United attacker Pablo Hernandez faces further assessment of his injury later today.

Hernandez was pictured wearing a protective boot after Leeds’ match at the weekend, which has left the Elland Road crowd sweating over his fitness.

Hernandez has been Leeds’ most dangerous attacker this season, and if he was to be ruled out with injury it would be a huge blow for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

A Leeds source has told the Telegraph that the Whites only put Hernandez in a protective boot as a precaution, as they did not want to take any risks with him.

He also said that Hernandez picked up the injury during the match, when he was the victim of a kick on the leg by a Birmingham defender.
