Report: Leeds United, Aston Villa and Derby County all want Ed Williams

Ed Williams has made a bright start and Leeds United, Aston Villa and Derby County now all reportedly want him.

According to the Non League Paper, Leeds United, Derby County and Aston Villa are all in contention to sign Ed Williams, who has shone this season.

Williams is currently playing for Kidderminster Harriers, but his form in the Conference has caught the eye.

Williams has bagged himself six goals already this term, from his attacking midfield station.

Leeds, Derby and Villa are all said to be convinced that he can now make the step up to a higher level.

The Championship trio are all keen to snap him up, as they make plans for January.

Villa are known to be targeting younger players, as they want to reduce the average age of their squad.

Derby have also shown a willingness to promoted players from the lower divisions already this season.

Leeds, meanwhile, have previously taken Ryan Edmondson and Sam Dalby from non-league before putting them into the development squads.
