Leeds United reportedly have Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce on their radar.

Leeds United have made a move for Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce, according to The Telegraph.
Bruce is uncertain about his future at Villa, according to the report, which has claimed that Championship rivals Leeds have approached through intermediaries to see if he would be be interested in switching to Elland Road this summer.

The Whites are reportedly in talks with Marcelo Bielsa regarding replacing Paul Heckingbottom as the club’s head coach, but discussions are claimed to be slow.
The Telegraph has also reported that Villa manager Bruce has not given any answer to Leeds yet.

Marcelo Bielsa alternative?
With talks over Bielsa slow and doubts over whether the Argentine would want to manage in the Championship, as reported by The Telegraph, it is quite smart of Leeds to make an approach for Bruce.
The former Hull City manager knows the Championship inside out, and he would be the man to take the Whites back to the Premier League.
Of course, Bielsa is a very good tactician, but if Bruce is willing to listen to offers from Leeds, then the West Yorkshire outfit should be serious about appointing him.
