Hemed, who spent four years in Spain’s La Liga before moving to Brighton, has scored 31 goals in 90 Seagulls appearances.
The 30-year-old has hit double figures in each of his two full seasons in English football and helped Chris Hughton’s side gain promotion to the Premier League last term.
HITC Sport suggested earlier this week that Hemed would be a good addition for Leeds, in particular.
