Leeds United are reportedly signing Liam McCarron from Carlisle United.

It has been reported that Leeds will pay Carlisle a transfer fee of £250,000 to secure the services of the 18-year-old midfielder.
Competition
Leeds reportedly agreeing a fee with Carlisle means that the Championship club have beaten off competition from a number of teams.
According to The Birmingham Mail, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Derby County and Sheffield United all are interested in securing the services of the 18-year-old.

Good long-term signing
McCarron is only 18 years of age, and it is clear that he is a long-term signing for Leeds.
It is unlikely that the winger will be a key figure in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side next season, but he could feature regularly in the team in the coming years.
Playing from time to time for the Leeds first team next season and featuring regularly for the Under-23 side could help McCarron in his development.
