The report has claimed that Leeds will make ‘a second firm proposal’ for Kalimuendo in the coming days after having an initial bid for the 20-year-old striker turned down.
Defending French champions PSG reportedly want €25 million (£21 million) for Kalimuendo, who is on the radar of Rennes as well.
West Ham and Everton have also been linked with Kalimuendo.
Goal claimed on July 29 that West Ham are interested in Kalimuendo, while 90min reported on July 20 that Everton and Newcastle United have made contact in regard to signing the 20-year-old this summer.
Could a transfer happen?
In our view, if Leeds United pay what Paris Saint-Germain want for Arnaud Kalimuendo, then a transfer could happen this summer.
PSG have top-quality forwards in Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at the club, and they also signed Hugo Ekitike this summer.
Kalimuendo is only 20, and given that PSG always want to win major trophies, it may not be easy for the youngster to become a regular in the starting lineup.
The France Under-21 international scored 21 goals in 65 games during his loan spell at RC Lens.
