Leeds United target Emi Buendia could see his wages halved, according to The Sun

Read Norwich suggest that Leeds are interested in landing the Canaries’ playmaker, and have already made an enquiry.

And the move to Elland Road could become even more appealing if Norwich are relegated.

Buendia reportedly could see his wages slashed by 50 per cent if Norwich go down, which would surely play right into Leeds’ hands.

Not only would it make the Argentine’s contract more affordable, he may also be more inclined to make the switch to Yorkshire.

There is actually a real possibility that Leeds and Norwich could change divisions next campaign.

Leeds sit at the top of the Championship, while Daniel Farke’s side are stuck rock bottom of the Premier League.

If Leeds were to land Buendia he would be impressive addition to their squad, as he has been one of Norwich’s brightest sparks this season, despite their relegation struggles.
