Leeds United are ready to offer Charlie Taylor a new contract, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Premier League duo Bournemouth and West Ham United are interested in signing the 23-year-old.
Taylor, who can play as a left-back or as a left-winger, has been on the books of Leeds his entire professional football career so far.
The talented player’s current contract with the West Yorkshire outfit runs out in June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
According to The Sun, Taylor and his agent have so far refused talks on a new contract.
It has been reported that Leeds are ready to offer the highly-rated left-back a major new deal in order to fend off interest from Premier League clubs.
Taylor is one of the best left-backs in the Championship and is an important player in Garry Monk’s team.
The former England Under-19 international handed in a transfer request at Leeds in August, but as announced on the club’s official website at the time, it was rejected.
West Ham signed Sam Byram from Leeds in the January transfer window, while Bournemouth recruited Lewis Cook from the Whites in the summer.
