Leeds United have reportedly joined the group of Premier League clubs interested in Hull City star Keane Lewis-Potter, who has starred in the Championship this season.
According to Planet Sport, the Whites have joined the likes of Everton, Newcastle and Tottenham in the race for the 21-year-old striker, who has been in stunning form for the Tigers this campaign and looks set to be the next big talent to come from the second-tier side.
As per the report, Lewis-Potter won’t come cheap following Hull’s recent takeover, with the English youngster last being noted of being worth £12m, yet these claims were made before the club’s new owners arrived.
With nine goals and four assists in all competitions, Lewis-Potter has been in productive form for Hull this campaign, and it is no wonder why the likes of Leeds and Tottenham are interested in the Yorkshire-born attacker.
Compared to former Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, who joined Real Madrid for a reported £150m according to BBC Sport, by Hull youth coach Craig Fagan, Lewis-Potter is a talent who has lit up the Championship this season, and for Leeds, he could flourish for the Whites.
Competition for Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison would be healthy for Leeds next season, and with Lewis-Potter able to play both as a left-winger and central striker, the Hull youngster could be perfect to fill this role under Jesse Marsch.
Lewis-Potter could be Marsch’s first developmental project at Leeds

With the American now in charge at Leeds, Marsch comes with a reputation of developing young talents into better and stronger players, look no further than former RB Salzburg stars Erling Haaland and Patson Daka. And at Leeds, Lewis-Potter could be the first project.
The 21-year-old has dazzled in the Championship and could replicate this form in the Premier League for Leeds, and with Marsch as his coach on the training pitch, Lewis-Potter could develop into a serious talent for the Yorkshire giants.
