Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United believe that Zurich forward Wilfried Gnonto wants to move to Elland Road in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
90min have reported that Leeds are in talks with Zurich over signing Gnonto.
Swiss club Zurich are ready to listen to offers for the 18-year-old forward, and Leeds hope to get a deal done for around £4m including bonuses and add-ons, according to the report.
90min have added that Leeds ‘believe a deal is close – and there’s confidence that Gnonto is keen to move to the Premier League’.
Calciomercato had earlier reported that Leeds have had an initial bid for Italy international forward turned down.

Could Leeds United sign Wilfried Gnonto?
In our view, Leeds United could be able to sign Wilfried Gnonto from Zurich in the summer transfer window if they pay the transfer fee needed.
Zurich are reportedly open to listening to offers for the teenager, who himself could be tempted to move to Elland Road this summer.
After all, Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England who are established in the Premier League.
Gnonto might not be able to play regularly for the Leeds first team straightaway, but he is only 18 and has time on his hands.
