Leeds United are reportedly eyeing two Real Valladolid stars.

According to Pucela Fichajes, Leeds United are interested in snapping up Real Valladolid duo Ruben Alcaraz and Toni Villa this month.

The Whites tied up a major January signing just days ago, as goalkeeper Kiko Casilla arrived from Real Madrid to bolster Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.

After a 2-1 defeat at Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, Bielsa may yet be keen on more additions, and Leeds may not even be done shopping in Spain.

That’s because Pucela Fichajes claim that Leeds want both Alcaraz and Villa from Real Valladolid, having scouted them earlier this month.

However, Valladolid will not negotiate on either player, and are adamant that they will only be sold for their release clause valuations; €12million (£10.6million) each, meaning a double deal would set Leeds back more than £20million.

Villa, 24, came up through the Valladolid ranks before a brief spell with Cultural Leonesa, a club Leeds have connections with, and he is now starring in La Liga back with Valladolid.

A creative playmaker who has notched two goals and two assists this season, Villa may be seen as a replacement for Samu Saiz, who left Leeds for Getafe this month.

Meanwhile, 27-year-old anchor man Alcaraz has impressed in holding midfield with strong tackling and technical ability, potentially adding competition for Kalvin Phillips.

Alcaraz is a former Barcelona youth player who only joined Valladolid from Girona last summer, but Leeds are allegedly already keen – and Bielsa, or even Victor Orta, could push for a huge double deal this month.
