Reported Leeds United target Rob Holding’s expected move to Newcastle United has now been delayed, the Chronicle report.
TalkSPORT seemed to end Leeds’ hopes of signing Holding this summer, by announcing that he was expecting to arrive at Newcastle this week.
However, it seems that the Magpies are now struggling to get a deal for the Arsenal defender over the line.
Newcastle apparently need to sell players before bringing Holding in, which may give Leeds a chance in the race to sign the 24-year-old again.
It was reported in the Daily Mail three weeks ago that Leeds were chasing Holding, and plenty of other sources have now claimed the same thing.

Leeds have already brought in Robin Koch to strengthen their defence this summer, but Marcelo Bielsa may want one more defensive recruit to fully ensure that he has a depth of options at the back.
Holding would offer Leeds Premier League experience, and could push Koch and Liam Cooper hard for a place in Bielsa’s starting line-up.
