Leeds United appear to be struggling to sign Matej Vydra, and the division that they are playing in is reportedly one of the reasons.

Vydra has been linked with a move away from Derby County this summer, with The Sun reporting that the Rams are looking to cash in due to Financial Fair Play regulations and that Leeds and West Brom are eyeing a deal for last season’s top goalscorer in the Championship.
It would appear that Vydra may be about to pile more pressure on himself if he does ultimately end up making the move to Leeds this summer.

A deal for the 26-year-old is likely to be one of the most expensive in the Whites’ history and Marcelo Bielsa hardly has a cluster of prolific forwards to pick from right now anyway, so much of the goalscoring burden is likely to fall on his shoulders if he does join.
The fact that he is reportedly holding out for a potential move elsewhere may not impress the Elland Road faithful, so if he does arrive, he may feel under even more pressure to hit the ground running and make sure that he does not lose the supporters before he has even got going.
