The Dutchman has two years left on his Leeds United contract.

The Leeds United striker, Jay-Roy Grot, is due to undergo a medical at Vitesse Arnhem, according to Gelderlander.
Vitesse – who are Grot’s hometown team – are said to be in far-reaching negotiation with the player they want to loan for the 2019/20 season.
The £800,000 Leeds recruit struggled in his first season at Elland Road, and was loaned to Vitesse’s Eredivisie rivals, VVV Venlo, where he fared somewhat better, scoring or making nine goals in 34 games.
But his improvement in fortunes is not enough to convince Leeds of his worth ahead of the new campaign, according to Gelderlander.

Grot – who has won caps for the Netherlands’ Under-20 side – has two years left on his contract in Yorkshire.
And it is perhaps Leeds’ hope that he will impress enough in his penultimate year to earn a permanent transfer next summer.
Could Grot do a job for Leeds this coming season?
