The Liverpool youngster continues to be linked with Championship side Leeds United.

Ryan Kent scores the first goal for Liverpool

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Leeds United remain interested in signing Liverpool winger Ryan Kent this summer, with the 20-year-old likely to struggle for minutes at Anfield despite being highly rated by Reds manager Jurgen Klopp.

The problem for Kent is that Liverpool are only likely to strengthen further in the close season as they push for a Premier League title that continues to allude them.

As a consequence Kent may struggle to be anything more than a bit-part player, potentially giving encouragement to alleged suitors Leeds, Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Kent has spent this season on loan at Barnsley, but if another Premier League club comes calling, Leeds will be hard pressed to compete, especially as their own promotion push appears to have gone up in smoke in recent weeks.

That said, Leeds boss Garry Monk is no stranger to giving youth a chance and as his pursuit of the player goes on, he will surely do everything in his power to convince Kent that Elland Road is the perfect place for him to fulfil his potential.
