Mundo Deportivo claim Raphinha is offering himself around to Champions League clubs in a bid to secure a Leeds exit – with Barcelona seemingly unable to strike a deal. The club’s finances are hampering their movement.
Raphinha, 25, has long been linked with a move to Barcelona. The Nou Camp outfit are keen, and so is Raphinha. Leeds are willing to do business, but only if they receive their asking price in full – not in instalments.

But now, the latest report states that Raphinha is taking decisive action. A move to Barcelona is losing strength, with Xavi’s side struggling financially and prioritising other moves – such as Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski.
It has seen Raphinha decide to offer himself about to Champions League clubs. Reports earlier this week suggested Liverpool could suggest a swap deal involving Takumi Minamino to sign Raphinha, and replace Sadio Mane.
Raphinha offering himself around to secure Leeds exit: Barcelona fail
It seems as though Barcelona’s chances of signing Raphinha are fading. They are not going to be able to afford the necessary fee, especially in a lump sum. Any chance of a swap deal seems unlikely.
Liverpool are much-better placed to go after Raphinha. Bayern are hell-bent on signing Mane and will have the cash ready to sign Raphinha. They also have a player Leeds want, in Minamino.
Raphinha would be an ideal addition for the Reds, even if Mane has been playing as a striker of late. They need a replacement for Mane and Raphinha can play on the right or left.
