Leeds United staff believe that Ben White will become an international superstar if he signs for them this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Leeds have been pushing hard to sign White throughout the transfer window so far, and they have still not given up on bringing the Brighton & Hove Albion central defender to Elland Road.
However, getting a deal done has proven expensive and problematic so far, due to Brighton’s reluctance to sell.
Leeds had White on loan last season, and he shone in the heart Marcelo Bielsa’s side’s defence.
Leeds now want White to come back and be a key player for them in the Premier League.
If the Whites are able to land the 22-year-old, their staff believe that he will become an England player by the end of the year.

Leeds apparently feel that with a season of top flight football under his belt, White will break into England’s squad for next year’s European championships.
England do have some central defensive issues, although Harry Maguire and Joe Gomez currently look like Gareth Southgate’s most likely starting pair at next summer’s tournament.
White’s arrival at Leeds would be a cause for huge celebration, but it is now getting to the point where Bielsa’s men need to make a breakthrough quickly.
White’s price tag is only rising higher and higher, and if Leeds do need to seek an alternative target, they will surely want him to get some experience of Bielsa’s style over pre-season before competitive football starts again next month.
