According to The Athletic, Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Luis Sinisterra today.

The Colombian winger was initially linked with Leeds just last week, and it looks like the Whites have moved very quickly on this one.

Indeed, the South American is set to sign a five-year contract at Leeds, and an announcement could be on its way very soon.

Leeds look set to lose Raphinha in the coming weeks, but in Sinisterra, they seem to have found a ready-made replacement.

According to AD, this deal will be worth an initial £18m, and you have to say that this is a snip for a player of such quality.

Described as ‘exceptional’ in the past, Sinisterra has been an utter revelation for Feyenoord over the past 12 months.

The winger banged in 23 goals and grabbed 14 assists in all competitions, while he also lit up the inaugural Europa Conference League, winning the Young Player of the Tournament award as his Feyenoord side made the final.

Sinisterra looks ready-made for the Premier League. He combines pace, skill and a high workrate to be one of the most frightening players in the Netherlands, and he should be a star in a Leeds team that has allowed Raphinha to blossom into a world-class Brazil international over the past two seasons.

Sinisterra will be Leeds’ fifth signing of the summer, and with a striker still on the agenda, he won’t be their last.
