Leeds United reportedly sent scouts to watch the Spanish Second Division B play-off tie.

According to a report from La Verdad, Leeds United were amongst the sides to send scouts to watch the second-leg of the Segunda Division B play-off tie between Cartagena and Real Madrid Castilla on Sunday.
The Whites are making preparations for their second season under Marcelo Bielsa. Bielsa so nearly guided Leeds back to the Premier League this past season, but another campaign of Championship football beckons.
The supporters are anxiously awaiting the club making significant moves in the transfer market, with the recruitment pinpointed by many as one of the key reasons why Leeds could not get across the line in the promotion race.
Those who want established stars this summer may be slightly concerned by reports from La Verdad over the weekend which claimed that Leeds were one of the teams to send a representative to watch the play-off tie between two third tier sides in Spain.

The game ended 2-0 to Cartagena thanks to early goals from Elady Zorrilla and Cordero. Zorrilla has now scored 21 goals this season, but it perhaps should also be noted that the Whites have, of course, dealt with Real Madrid in recent times with the January signing of Kiko Casilla.
It is not clear from the report whether Leeds had any particular targets in mind. But the supporters will definitely be hoping that any gambles taken this summer are in the minority, and the majority of the signings involve players who can immediately improve Bielsa’s lineup.
