Leeds United are fighting to keep Craig Dean at Elland Road.

According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United scout Craig Dean is wanted by Premier League clubs after recommending their move for Daniel James.
The Whites have missed out on promotion to the Premier League after their playoff collapse to Derby County last week, and the focus is now on keeping everybody together at Elland Road.
That starts with boss Marcelo Bielsa, who will be attracting interest from other clubs, as well as key players such as Kemar Roofe and Kalvin Phillips.
There could be another fight to keep hold a Leeds man though, as the Daily Mail report that scout Dean is wanted by Premier League and even Championship clubs.
Formerly of Newcastle United and Oxford United, Dean has been Leeds’ Head of Emerging Talent since 2017, helping bring promising young players to Elland Road.

He’s credited with Leeds’ January pursuit of Swansea City winger Daniel James, which was set to go through on deadline day, but collapsed at the last minute, and now he’s set for Manchester United.
Dean also helped bring Tyler Roberts to Elland Road, and whilst it’s unclear just who wants to lure him away from Leeds, the club will be desperate to make sure he stays, and helps find other young players to bring to West Yorkshire.
