According to the Sheffield Star, Leeds United are among the clubs interested in signing Sheffield Wednesday defender Osaze Urhoghide this summer.
It’s claimed that Leeds are in the mix for Urhoghide, but Crystal Palace and Watford are also interested in the youngster.
The 20-year-old didn’t make a single first-team appearance before the 24th of January, with injuries stunting him under Garry Monk and Tony Pulis.
Urhoghide has now made 12 appearances this term, and has emerged as one of the shining lights in a dismal Wednesday campaign.
Urhoghide has played as a right-sided centre back in a three-man defence of late, and it’s no surprise that he is attracting real interest after Darren Moore branded him ‘immense’ last weekend.
Born in the Netherlands, Urhoghide moved over to England aged five, and stared out with CB Hounslow before being picked up by AFC Wimbledon.

Urhoghide joined Wednesday in 2019, and is now making rapid progress with the Owls, who risk losing him when his contract ends this summer.
Leeds can offer a stay in Yorkshire, but Palace and Watford can give him a return to the south, meaning the youngster will have plenty to think about as interest mounts.
