Massimo Cellino is reportedly looking to buy Italian club Brescia.
According to Sunday’s edition of The Sun, Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino is lining up a move to purchase Serie B club Brescia in the near future.
Cellino, 60, has been calling the shots at Elland Road since 2014, and it’s fair to say that it’s been something of a turbulent ride under the Italian’s stewardship.

Six managers – Brian McDermott, David Hockaday, Darko Milanic, Neil Redfearn, Uwe Rosler and Steve Evans – have all lost their jobs under the man known as ‘the Manager Eater’ in his native Italy, whilst there have been a whole host of controversial stories surrounding Cellino throughout his time in England.
Right now, Leeds are going well; Cellino has sat back and let manager Garry Monk do his job, and Leeds now sit sixth in the Championship table, and are showing that they can mount a real push for promotion.

Fans still want Cellino gone though, and reports suggest that he could be eyeing up another club to add to his portfolio, with The Sun (06/11/2016) claiming that he wants to purchase Brescia.
The Serie B club, currently managed by ex-Milan player and manager Cristian Brocchi, haven’t been back to Serie A since being relegated in 2011, and the report states that Cellino thinks that they have real potential to grow in the coming years.

Long gone are their days with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Pep Guardiola, Luigi Di Biagio, Luca Toni and Roberto Baggio, but Cellino believes he can turn the club around and them to the top flight, as he did during his 22 years at Cagliari before heading to Leeds.
It remains to be seen what such interest means for Cellino at Leeds, as whilst fans may hope that his focus would be on Brescia, the chances of him selling the club whilst they’re contending for promotion seem slim.
