The Yorkshire Evening Post claim Leeds are now ready to listen to permanent offers for three players in Helder Costa, Kiko Casilla and even Ian Poveda this summer – with all three left out of the club’s tour of Australia this summer.

Leeds took youngsters including Leo Hjelde, Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville to Australia – but decided to leave 22-year-old Poveda at home. The winger may find himself slightly hard done by after his leg break while at Blackburn.

But ultimately, Leeds have numerous options out wide – even with Raphinha departing. Luis Sinisterra has come in, Jack Harrison remains, Crysencio Summerville will step up and Dan James has looked electric in pre-season.

With Jesse Marsch preferring inverted wingers, Rodrigo and Brenden Aaronson could do a job. No room for Poveda, and Leeds are ready to offload the ex-Manchester City man – initially on loan but with a view to a permanent deal.

It is a similar story for Helder Costa. Having already gone on loan to Valencia last season, Costa needs to leave Leeds permanently this summer in order to save his career. Kiko Casilla is also one on the transfer list at Elland Road.

Given they were all missing from Australia, they are simply not needed. Even if Newcastle do buy Jack Harrison, the need for Poveda and Costa is still small. That is, given the Whites will surely reinvest the fee they get from the Toon.

Costa and Casilla have no future at the club whatsover. There is interest from The MLS in Poveda this summer and a move to America might tempt the ex-City man. Pep Guardiola once said Leeds was “perfect” for Poveda.
