Leeds United are now plotting a move for Brentford defender Rico Henry, according to the Daily Mail.
Leeds are competing with West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion for the 23-year-old left-back, who has been one of the stand out full-backs in the Championship over the past campaign.
Brentford’s failure to win at Wembley has seen many of their key players linked with moves away and Henry is the latest player who appears to be edging closer to the exit.
Leeds’ interest in intriguing, as they originally wanted the rapid defender way back in 2016.
The Daily Mail reported how Leeds tried to sign Henry when Garry Monk was in charge, but they narrowly missed out, after opening talks with him.
Henry is a far more complete defender now than he was four years ago, when he was still playing for Walsall, but he is also set to be far more expensive.
If Henry was brought to Leeds he would be in competition with the likes of Barry Douglas and Stuart Dallas for a first-team spot.
