Leeds United are now having to compete with two Premier League rivals for the signature of Sergio Romero, according to ESPN.
Leeds have been chasing Romero for much of the summer so far, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side keen to add another goalkeeper to their ranks.
It seems that Romero is on their wishlist, but getting the Argentine from Manchester United could be difficult.
Romero is very much in demand, and both Everton and Chelsea are now said to be keen on him.
Everton’s Jordan Pickford has failed to convince this term, while Kepa doesn’t seem up to the standard required at Chelsea.
Romero is regarded as one of the best back-up goalkeepers in the Premier League and with the 33-year-old, who Jose Mourinho labelled as ‘fantastic’ in the Sun, potentially available for £5 million (Sun) he is now very much in demand.

Beating two more established top flight clubs to his signature could be a challenge for Leeds.
However, if the Whites are able to land Romero he would be an excellent addition.
Romero would add quality and experience to Leeds’ starting line-up, and he would surely be instated as the club’s first-choice immediately, ahead of both Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier.
