Leeds United are now considering a move for Swansea City’s Ben Cabango, as they look to strengthen their defence, the Yorkshire Evening Post report.

Cabango has caught the eye at Swansea City over the past campaign, and Leeds have quickly taken note of his performances.

The youngster may have only made 23 league appearances throughout his career so far in England, but Leeds have spotted his potential already.

Leeds are seemingly targeting one more addition at the back, after bringing in Robin Koch, and they are looking at a youngster.

Josko Gvardiol has already been linked, but Cabango is an alternative target for the Whites.

Swansea boss Steve Cooper has already described him as an ‘excellent’ player on his side’s official website, and he seems to have an extremely bright future ahead of him.

While Cabango probably wouldn’t go straight into Leeds’ starting line-up, he would offer them more cover at the back, and he could be a smart addition to their squad for the years ahead.

Bielsa seemingly has big spending plans at Leeds, with the Daily Mail saying earlier this week that another four players are being targeted this summer.
