Leeds United, Newcastle United and Sunderland all reportedly want the teenage talent.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Leeds are battling with the likes of Newcastle and Sunderland in the race to sign 16-year-old midfielder Conner Rennison.
Hartlepool United starlet Rennison is reportedly not under contract with the National League side, so will be able to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
TEAMtalk reports that he is attracting a lot of attention from the top three tiers of English football. Newcastle could offer him the chance to jump straight into the Premier League, while Leeds are one of four Championship outfits monitoring his situation, with Middlesbrough, Hull City and Bristol City interested.
League One promotion-chasers Sunderland, Barnsley and Portsmouth are all also keen on the youngster that TEAMtalk reports has been likened to Lee Cattermole.

Leeds certainly appear to have a fantastic chance of winning the race to land Rennison’s signature. The Whites have seen several of their under-23 signings over the last couple of years break into the first-team or put themselves onto Marcelo Bielsa’s radar.
Clubs like Sunderland, Barnsley and Bristol City have also created a path for their young players to make their way into the senior side, so Rennison has some fantastic options on the table heading into the summer.
