Leeds were linked with a move for Huddersfield star van La Parra.

Sky Sports have claimed Huddersfield Town trickster Rajiv van La Parra is set to undergo a medical with Championship side Middlesbrough in the next 24 hours – meaning Leeds have missed out.
The Sun claimed last week that Middlesbrough were winning the race for the 27-year-old winger, who has managed just five Premier League appearances this season under David Wagner.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers star is said to be available for just £5million, but interested parties may be looking at bringing the Dutchman in on loan before shelling out the seven-figure fee.
Indeed, Sky’s report claims van La Parra is undergoing a medical ahead of a loan move to the Riverside, with Boro looking to get him signed up and ready to face Derby County on January 1.

Boro have been struggling of late under Tony Pulis, and the former Stoke City boss has moved quickly in a bid to alleviate that pressure in the form of signings. Van La Parra looks to be his first of what could be a busy month.
Pulis’ side have won just one of their last seven Championship games and inspiration is needed. Beating the Championship’s leaders Leeds to a player with the skill and calibre of van La Parra could be just the boost required.
