According to Tutto Atalanta, Leeds are ‘above all’ interested in signing Udinese maestro Rodrigo de Paul, who Liverpool also want.
It was Tutto Udinese who claimed that Liverpool are keen on the Argentine – they even wrote that the Reds were leading the race.
Now, however, Tutto Atalanta reveal that it’s Leeds who are ‘above’ every other club interested in the 26-year-old.
The Italian news outlet add that Udinese want €35 million (£29.9 million) for their captain.
As well as Liverpool, Tutto Atalanta say that sides from La Liga and the Premier League are also keen, while he’s already been contacted by Italy’s most famous clubs.

If it came down to a straight fight between Leeds and Liverpool for De Paul, you would feel that Jürgen Klopp’s side have more pulling power.
However, the South American seemed very keen on moving to Yorkshire back in the summer.

In a tweet – which he has since deleted – De Paul responded to a Leeds fan account confirming that he was interested in moving to Elland Road, as covered by The Boot Room.
A lot can change during a season, so it will be interesting to see if he is still interested in the move now Liverpool have entered the equation.
