Leeds are reportedly interested in signing O’Dowda from Bristol City.

The Bristol Post have claimed Leeds United will have to spend up to £10million to sign Bristol City winger Callum O’Dowda in the January transfer window.
Sky Sports claimed Leeds have shortlisted the 23-year-old wide man, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to sign another option to add to the likes of Jack Clarke, Gjanni Alioski, Jack Harrison and Pablo Hernandez.
Talks are underway between Leeds and Swansea City over a move to sign Daniel James, but if the two clubs cannot agree a fee – with Swansea asking for around £3.5million – then the Whites will focus on signing O’Dowda.
However, the Bristol Post have now claimed that Leeds would have to spend between a whopping £8million and £10million to land the 15-time Republic of Ireland international.

The Whites have been careful in the transfer market since being relegated from the Premier League in 2004, with Patrick Bamford the club’s most expensive signing in 15 years.
If Leeds do sign O’Dowda and the fee is as high as £10million, it would eclipse the striker’s move to Elland Road. The likelihood of Leeds stretching to that figure, though, is small.
