According to The Scottish Daily Mail (30/09, back page), Leeds United have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur about a deal for Ryan Sessegnon.
It’s claimed that the Whites have registered their interest in signing Sessegnon on loan, alongside Brighton and Southampton.
Ajax and Hertha Berlin are keen too, but it’s Celtic who allegedly believe they can convince Sessegnon to join them ahead of the competition.
Tottenham are willing to send Sessegnon out on loan after signing Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, and are now fielding major interest.
The problem for Celtic is that Sky Sports claim that the finances involved are problematic for the Bhoys, which could prevent a deal no matter what Sessegnon thinks.
That will give Leeds major hope of a deal, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to add pace down the left flank before Monday’s deadline.

Sessegnon could play at left back under Bielsa, or offer competition for Jack Harrison on the left wing, with his versatility and speed ideal for Leeds.
The 20-year-old cost £25million just over a year ago, meaning he would be something of a coup for Leeds or Celtic – and much will depend on who can tempt Spurs into a deal.
