According to The Mirror, Leeds United continue to look towards Liverpool’s Yasser Larouci as a possible left back addition.

It’s stated that the Whites are looking at Crystal Palace ace Patrick van Aanholt as a potential signing as they pursue a new left back.

Van Aanholt is out of contract this summer meaning he can sign for free, but Leeds are also eyeing up Larouci.

The Algerian’s contract expires this summer, and it looks likely that he will be leaving Liverpool having been frozen out this season.

Not only has Larouci not featured in the first team, but he has only played twice in Premier League 2 this season as the Reds prepare for his exit.

Leeds were keen on Larouci during the summer window too, but no deal materialised as the 20-year-old was forced to see out the final year of his deal.

A ‘lightning quick’ talent according to Liverpool coach Barry Lewtas, Larouci clearly has potential, but hasn’t been able to show it at Anfield.

If Leeds go with youth over experience, then Larouci could well be signed instead of Van Aanholt in a bold move from the Whites this summer.
