Leeds United loanee Ouasim Bouy could be sent back on loan to the club this January.

Bouy was signed by Leeds this summer after a stint at Juventus and was sent out on loan to Spanish side Cultural Leonesa.

But he has struggled to win a place in their first XI, and could be sent back to Elland Road, report Spanish outlet Reynournal.

The report states Bouy is not in the plans of his manager, and Leonesa are likely to try and move him on in order to save wages and create room for further additions.

Bouy can play in both midfield and defence and could yet turn out to play a role for Leeds this season despite his lack of success in Spain.

If that is not on the agenda then the 24-year-old could be sent out on another loan.

Bouy has made four appearances this season, two in the Copa del Rey, and two in the Spanish second division totalling 54 minutes of action.

The loan switch has not worked out for him, and it is probably best for all parties concerned that it is cut short.
