Sacko has struggled since leaving Leeds to join Las Palmas on loan.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Leeds United loanee Hadi Sacko is likely to annoy his current loan side Las Palmas over the international break.

Sacko, 24, has managed just 97 minutes of football for the second-tier Spanish side, spread across five appearances as the recently relegated side currently sit in sixth place.

Indeed, Sacko was left out of the most-recent 18-man squad to play against Elche on Saturday, a match which saw Las Palmas draw their third consecutive league match 0-0.

The international break is set to kick in over the next two weeks, but the Spanish second division does not stop during the two-week period. Sacko is now expected to annoy Las Palmas fans even further, by choosing country over club.

The former Sporting Lisbon winger, who cost Leeds a hefty £1.5million last summer (Yorkshire Evening Post), has been called up Mali to play against Gabon on November 17 in a qualification clash for the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

But with Las Palmas still in action, fans are likely to be annoyed by the Leeds winger as the Spanish side take on second division leaders Granada on November 16, a Friday evening kick-off.

Choosing to play for his country over Las Palmas will show fans where his loyalties lie, and that is only likely to push him down the pecking order even further. He has two years remaining on his contract at Elland Road.
